About This Tour
This deluxe tour extension takes you on a 3 day cruise of Greek Islands. **The cruise line requires an additional $250 per passenger deposit to add this extension – please allow 72 business hours to confirm availability for the cruise.

Day 1 - Thursday
Fly from Thessaloniki to Athens
WELCOME TO ATHENS
- After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Thessaloniki airport for your flight to Athens. Transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a free day at leisure in Athens. Dinner at our hotel and overnight

Day 2
Day 2 - Friday
Embark on a 3-Nights Cruise/ Island of Mykonos.
CRUISE: MYKONOS: FREE TIME TO EXPLORE THE ISLAND ON YOUR OWN: RECOMMENDED SITES TO SEE: CHURCH OF PARAPORTIANI / LITTLE VENICE / WINDMILLS
- At 8:30 in the morning we will transfer to the port of Lavrion to embark on a cruise. We will start a 3-night trip to the Greek Islands and Turkey, departing to the island of Mykonos at 11:30 AM. We will arrive at 6:00 PM.
- Known for its stunning whitewashed architecture and iconic windmills, Mykonos is also a lively center of cosmopolitan culture. But beyond its beauty, the island has connections to early Christian history, and your time here will serve as a beautiful beginning to your pilgrimage.
- Embark on your cruise at 11:00pm and we will sail to Kusadasi in Turkey.
**There are no guided shore excursions included in Mykonos.
Day 3
Day 3 - Saturday
Arrive in Kusadasi, Turkey/ Visit Ephesus / Visit Patmos Island
EPHESUS GUIDED TOUR INCLUDED: GREAT THEATER / BATHS OF SCHOLASTICA / TEMPLE OF DIANA OF THE EPHESIANS / PATMOS ISLAND GUIDED TOUR INCLUDED
- In the morning, we will arrive in Kusadasi, Turkey (docking around 7am). This is the starting point for our tour to Ancient Ephesus (Acts 18:19-21). The Apostle Paul lived and worked here during his ministry, preaching to the Ephesians. We tour the spectacular ruins in the city founded in the 10th century B.C. The impressive remains of Ephesus include the Agora, the Theater, the Stadium, the Library of Celsius, the ruins of the Temple of Diana (one of the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World”)

After the visit, we return to the port for re-embarkation at lunchtime and sail to Patmos. Arrive in Patmos (Rev 1:9) in the afternoon and enjoy our tour to the Monastery of John the Evangelist, located on one of the island’s highest points. This is the location where John was exiled and wrote the Book of Revelation. From here, we will walk down to the Grotto of the Revelation (Cave of Apocalypse), the site of the apocalyptic Revelations of St. John. We return to the cruise ship. Sail to Heraklion, Crete and enjoy dinner onboard. Overnight on Cruise
Day 4
Day 4 - Sunday
Heraklion (Crete) / Santorini
- At 7.00 a.m. we arrive at Heraklion Island, Crete (Acts 27:7-13). You can choose to join the optional excursion to the Minoan Palace of Knossos, home of King Minos and the legendary Minotaur (half-bull and half-man). In the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion you can find the unbelievable works of art (pieces of sculpture and pottery, jewelry, arms, frescoes), that have been found in a number of Minoan sites all over Crete.
- Arrive in Santorini, one of the most breathtaking islands in Greece, known for its whitewashed villages, blue-domed churches, and dramatic volcanic cliffs. Guests will disembark by tender and reach the base of the island at the Old Port. You have two main options to reach the town of Fira (Thera), located at the top of the cliffs:
– Cable Car (Recommended): Quick and scenic ride to the top (15 Euro each way)
– Walking Path: Steep uphill path (not recommended for most travelers)Once in Fira, enjoy free time to explore the shops, cafés, and panoramic views overlooking the caldera.

Today we disembark at the port of Lavrion, located about 37 miles from Athen’s city center. Our ship should arrive between 6:00-7:00 AM. After a delicious breakfast onboard, we will disembark the cruise and transfer to the Athens international airport for your flight departure back to the US
