Most of our tours involve moderate walking, often over uneven ground at archaeological sites. The most challenging part, in terms of walking, is climbing the Acropolis in Athens, which includes an uphill path with uneven surfaces and stairs. We recommend comfortable shoes, but you don’t need to be an athlete to enjoy the journey.

Yes, modest dress is required only at monasteries and churches visited during the program. Generally, shoulders and knees should be covered at these locations. For the rest of the tour, there is no specific dress code. If taking the cruise, some of the meals may have an optional dress color or theme, but this is entirely optional and not mandatory.
